Nicole Cox, CEO of Anders Group, on Building an Award-Winning Agency

Nicole Cox, CEO of Anders Group, smiling confidently, featured in a blog post titled 'Nicole Cox, CEO of Anders Group, on Building an Award-Winning Agency.'

What started out as an interest in healthcare and helping people burgeoned into a successful leadership role for Nicole Cox, Founder and CEO of Anders Group, a thriving Dallas-based, boutique travel healthcare staffing firm operating nationwide.

Nicole was recently interviewed on the Adni Huddle Podcast, a nurse-founded start-up sharing stories of leaders in the healthcare community. Nicole shared some insights about her career journey with Adni host, Anthony:

“I started out in healthcare as a recruiter because I’m very much a people person and helping people has always been important to me. After working with a large recruiting firm for four years, I decided to go on my own and founded Anders Group in 2010, with the goal of creating better personal connections with healthcare travelers. Individuals working in healthcare have a very different daily challenge than most people, especially if they are leaving a permanent job to travel and work.

“We strive to make it easier for the healthcare traveler and be there when they need a friend or have a question. Our goal at Anders Group is to support their career choices while helping them enjoy the fun and excitement of travel. Over the years it’s been such a privilege to see people make great career choices and go forward to be very successful travelers. I’m fortunate to call many of them friends who have stayed in touch and share their appreciation.”

Anders Group is aligned with relevant healthcare technology that connects healthcare workers throughout the U.S.  As technology evolves and adds to the value of Anders Group, recruiters and travelers alike benefit from the efficiency of how they communicate and work together. Technology supports both. While Anders Group very much believes in the enormous value of technology, the agency’s main focus continues to be the people who make it function. As recruiters are focused on being there for healthcare travelers, day or night, the agency is equally committed to the hospitals and healthcare facilities it supports.

Anders Group was recently recognized on SIA’s list of Largest Healthcare Staffing Firms in the US and has frequently ranked in the Inc 5000 list of fastest growing private companies in the U.S. as well as recognized in BluePipes 2024 Best Travel Nursing Company.
